Meet Nina

Based in New York City since 2003, Nina began with a Pentax K1000 camera, winning a Scholastic Art and Writing Silver Medal, shown in the Bronx Documentary Center Annex in New York. She has been a part of several publications, including The Daily Orange as Assistant Photo Editor and BAKED Magazine as Photo Editor. She has also worked at Brian Dorsey Studios and Shiseido Americas, as well as done freelance work.

Nina graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, studying Photojournalism and minoring in Creative Writing.

Born in Beihai, China, and adopted at the age of one, her favourite subject to photograph is her dog, Daisy. She loves cooking, free-style baking, writing fiction, coffee, and chocolate.
